All reservations for The Kids Park pavilions are booked on a first-come, first-served basis. To reserve a pavilion, call City Hall at 251-626-4884 or visit the receptionist's desk during normal business hours. While there are two pavilions located at the park, only one pavilion per time slot may be reserved so that the other pavilion remains available to the public.
The following booking times allow for maximum use of the pavilion, allowing a 30-minute period between reservations for clean up and set up:
March through October

5:00 PM to 7:00 PM
November through February

A $25.00 fee is required for a 2-hour reservation and use of the pavilion. Consecutive reservations may be booked for pavilion use with an additional fee of $25.00 per each additional 2-hour period. (i.e., the fee for 4 hours would be $50.00.) Any part of another hour constitutes an additional 2 hours of usage.
The reservation fee(s) must be paid in full and received at Spanish Fort City Hall within 3 business days of booking the reservation. If the fee(s) is not received within the allotted time, your reservation time may be forfeited and reserved by another party with their full and timely payment of fee.
The reservation fee is payable by cash or check, made payable to the City of Spanish Fort, and must be delivered in person to City Hall. Upon payment, you will be given a receipt which indicates the date and time of your pavilion reservation. Please have this receipt with you at the time of your party in the event you should need to show proof of having a reservation for use of the pavilion.
Reservation fees will be refunded only under the following circumstances:
Inclement weather the day of the scheduled pavilion reservation; or
Cancellation of pavilion reservation at least 3 business days prior to reservation date.
In order to receive a refund check by mail, a letter must be submitted in person to City Hall with name, mailing address, and telephone. Please allow 2-weeks for processing of refund.
Air-inflated jumping features are allowed for parties booked at The Kids Park. A fee of $10.00 per jumping feature will be charged for each 2-hour party period to cover the cost of electricity. (i.e., 1 feature for 1 party period would be charged $10.00; 2 features for 2 party periods would be charged $40.00.)
City rules and regulations prohibit the use of any and all types of motorized vehicles on park property at The Kids Park. Any features which include and/or require the use of water are strictly prohibited at The Kids Park. The owner or provider of any inflatable feature used at The Kids Park agrees to assume all liability for any injuries or damages which may result from the use of the inflatable feature.
Set-up and clean-up is to be done during your reserved time and within the 30-minute periods allotted before and after reservation times. Clean-up is the responsibility of the reserving party and includes the removal of all decorations, as well as the collection and placement of all trash in designated areas.
PARK RULES ARE POSTED AT THE PARK AND ARE STRICTLY ENFORCED.
Originally called "The Fort", the Kids Park was renovated in 2018 and now includes numerous ADA accessible features! There are auditory activities, sensory enticing surfaces, swings, and slides galore. The expanded playground includes separate sections for children 5 and under, as well as a section sure to engage the older explorers. The park also features bathrooms, benches around the play area, ample parking, and covered pavilions which may be reserved for private parties.
